You can change your timeslot online free of charge at any time. There are no ticket counters available on site, and waiting times may occur at the ticket machines. Once timeslots are fully booked, no additional tickets will be sold on site.

Practical Information

The descent can be made at any time during operating hours and also within the following 7 days (e.g. for SAC hut guests).

Information about arriving by car on highly frequented days

On highly frequented days, parking availability in Kandersteg – especially near the valley station – is limited. An online ticket does not automatically guarantee a parking space in Kandersteg.

We therefore recommend arriving early or travelling by public transport. If access to the village of Kandersteg is temporarily restricted by traffic management, please reschedule your timeslot online to a later time.

Please note that tickets can be rescheduled but are non-refundable. Tickets can be rescheduled here.

Parking discount for gondola guests:

Guests of the Kandersteg–Oeschinensee gondola lift benefit from a parking discount at the payment machines on the parking areas at the gondola valley station (Oeschistrasse 50, Kandersteg). After scanning your ticket at the payment machine, please also scan the QR code to receive the discount. Not valid on other parking areas in Kandersteg.
